Thankful...
For not just having a job (believe me, it’s nice), but a job where the people are great (Like Cheers, a place where everybody knows your name), and one where I can actually lay down to sleep knowing I’m helping doctors serve their patients better and making their practices greener (less paper use!)
For the people I surround myself with. My Coworkers are friendly people, My Family is...

On Kindness and Expectations
How often do you expect kindness back whenever you help someone out?
Have you ever thought that maybe that was a bad thing? Sure, it’s nice to hold people up to a standard of decency, but what if that kindness comes in a form that we don’t want it in, or if it doesn’t come soon enough, or what if it doesn’t come back at all?
I’m thinking of changing my...

WHOA. WHOA. Wait up a minute. I always knew that Rivers Cuomo was a yellow fever creepster, but I didn’t know it showed up in the Blue Album. That song is so catchy though. Ugh.
I will say though, that despite its yellow fever creepster overload, that Pinkerton did get me...

[This song’s been in my head for the past couple of days. Whenever I hear it, it reminds me that every day I’m getting closer to finding what I want in life and getting it, while enjoying every tough fork in the road, every milestone, every step of the...
On Kindness
Y’know, I get warned alot that people might take advantage of my kindness. When you really think about it though, kindess was meant to be given out and shared, not to be hoarded or kept away.

Honestly, this was my favorite one from this year (Aside from Thinkgeek’s Tauntaun Sleeping Bag). Blizzard always does a great job of blending pop culture with video game references.

On Creativity
I recall an epiphany I had months ago. “I’m not a creative person, but rather, a creative solver.” It encapsulated very well what I think keeps me from those who were more creavitely expressive than I - The College Experience brought me to quite a few musicians, writers, and artists… at least, more than what your typical Engineering student would expect.
The first thing...

A few highlights of the year.
- Turning 25
I’m grateful for another year, and it was defintely good times. I gues the big thing is that I’ve 5 years left before 30. A friend of mine agreed to do a 30 list with me. I’ll post it if I feel like it.

On Blogging Anonymity
If it weren’t for the side project that roped me into this, I’d probably wouldn’t have picked up blogging again - I was stuck on the decision on whether to link my thoughts and feelings to my real world identity.
The notion of Anonymity was pretty appealing - having the freedom to speak whatever you want, make up a couple names, and just be golden. I was even thinking of making...

On Tardiness vs. Punctuality
I used to like going to things early, because I hated showing up late, especially for important things. It really bugs me waiting for someone who’s late, so I especially hate wasting other people’s time. However, I realized that I get to places too early, it’s inefficient use of my own time. Either way I get stuck waiting around, mostly thinking thoughts like these. :P
Any guy can make a girl feel good. A gentleman will make her feel special.
